Information & Consultation Forums

Our experienced team of HR Consultants has helped many Irish employers to establish effective Information and Consultation Forums within their organisations.

The Employees (Provision of Information and Consultation) Act 2006 (updated in 2013) imposes information and consultation obligations on employers with at least 50 employees. However, the requirement to inform and consult with employees does not apply automatically. It applies if an employer chooses to start the process or, potentially, if there is a formal written request from at least 10% of the workforce.
